FAQs

Power supply repair questions

What types of power supply do you repair?

We repair all makes and models of power supply, including AC/DC and DC/DC switch mode units, open frame, enclosed and DIN rail PSUs, medical and industrial power supplies, LED drivers, inverters, battery chargers and wall-mount adaptors.

What does "no fix, no fee" mean?

If we are unable to repair your power supply, you do not pay a repair charge. You only pay when we return a working, tested unit to you.

Are repaired power supplies tested?

Yes. Every repaired unit is fully load tested, and all DC power supplies undergo full soak testing before they are returned to you.

My power supply is obsolete. Can you still help?

Yes. Obsolete units can often still be repaired. If a repair is not possible, our purchasing team can source a direct replacement or a suitable modern equivalent.

Can you design a custom power supply?

Yes. We design and manufacture custom power supplies to customer specifications for medical, industrial, telecoms and opto-electronics applications.

How do I send a unit in for repair?

Contact us by phone, email or the enquiry form with the manufacturer, model number and a description of the fault. We will confirm the details and explain how to get the unit to our workshop in Tadley, Hampshire.

Got a failed power supply?

Send us the make, model and fault and we'll tell you how we can help — repair, replacement or redesign.
